Recrystallized SiC (RSiC) made from high purity silicon carbide powder, only SiC in it, no other low temerature materials, compared with traditional refractory materials,it has much higher strength under 1700C oxygen atmosphere, key advantage is lighter, thinner & better thermal conductivity and no pollution, with same loading weight, RSiC plate or beam thickness can be much smaller, that help end users save natural gas and kiln space, then lower production cost and higher quality for alumina zirconia ceramics , ITO targets...manufacturers. so R-SiC ceramic & kiln furniture is getting more and more popular.
